24 hours in NYC

All pictures taken with my iPhone, because hauling around my Nikon was too much of a commitment. And because now I'm forced to go back and take better pictures.

not pictured:

+ choking on my own sobs while Scott Avett sang Murder in the City
+ choking on my own sobs again when Seth stopped singing The Ballad of Love and Hate to tell the people screaming that he loved them too
+ packing nearly the exact same concert outfit as Alissa
+ Alissa calling the front desk of the hotel to tell them the toilet won't stop running, and Kelsey screaming in the background "It's at the Barclays Center down the street...its got its running shoes on!"
+ mozzarella sticks with raspberry sauce
+ train rides, which is now my preferred method of transportation
+ the perfect adventure to start off my birthday week

  1. 1. That first picture? WHAT? WHERE WAS I? I don't remember that! brb, stealing that and printing it out.

    2. These make my heart so so so happy. I can't believe it's over...I had such a great time! And we need to go back and just spend a weekend in Brooklyn - with our good cameras!

    1. Oh, and remind me never to have a serious conversation about toilets with you and Kelsey in the room. I'll never get over the little Asian lady coming to fix it with gloves and towels.

    2. Also, also, the picture that Kelsey took of us at the top of the Empire State Building is my favorite - even though you can't see our faces. FRAMING IT.

    3. YOU'RE WELCOME.

ALSO ps. to my comment- I am surprised you didn't put the picture of you giving side-eyes to the Empire State Building employee who scolded you for putting your drink on the ledge. That one might have been my favorite.

  2. THIS IS MAKING ME EMOTIONAL. I wish I were joking. I just teared up scrolling through the pictures. Then I teared up FOR REAL when I got to the picture of Melt. I NEED THEM TO DELIVER.

"THIS IS NOT A PRANK CALL! OUR TOILET REALLY WILL NOT STOP RUNNING"
