1. You get excited when they sit, stand, and roll over. New tricks! So exciting!

2. They chew on things. Anything and everything. Sophie the Giraffe is just a glorified chew toy.

3. There's a lot of drool.

4. They try to sleep in bed with you. And then they take up all the space.

5. They have to be potty-trained.

6. They like to be taken on walks. And to the park. Anything to get out their energy.

7. They beg for table food.

8. It's fun to dress them up in cute outfits and costumes.

9. They're always happy to see you.

  2. Hahaha, this is cute. I can't confirm for a baby but I will definitely say that dogs love all those things :)
Ways they aren't similar: 1) It's frowned upon to crate your baby, 2) Forgetting to feed the baby is a little more catastrophic than forgetting to feed the dog.
    Hahaha.

  3. Parker dragged one of my shoes around the house the other day just like my mom's dog. He is exactly like a puppy.

  6. Don't show this to Isaiah, it will just strengthen his case for why we should get a dog...

  7. Teaching babies tricks is the best. And when they don't belong to you and you teach them tricks that will really annoy their parents, that is also fun...

But dogs are one of my least favorite things in the world so I'd have to choose baby.
